Description

The SiSUSB VGA driver may need to be nudged by moving the mouse, typing, having something on screen just change, etc. to flush updated items on the screen to its output VGA connector.

I believe Martin has pushed this upstream as a known issue.

Forking this from #10210 for tracking/documentation purposes. Tested in 10.1.3 os360 and prior.

any particular reason why this is on the RH bugzilla? The usual Xorg upstream is freedesktop

Not much interest from xorg folks -- see http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-November/thread.html#15895 -- and lack of time.

It is my impression that (a) RH is very active in xorg development, and (b) RH/Fedora cares about our little quirky XOs. But I'm not in the x server conversation, so I could very well be wrong.

Help chasing the various upstreams welcome.
