FWIW I tested the release in English, Spanish, French, and the real tough case Pashto – unfortunately very incomplete string wise – 11.2.0 os21 Sugar looks quite a mess if you choose that locale. It's not just that most string are not translated yet, but also lots of characters appear as the unknown unicode block glyph (not sure if these are incorrect strings or not having fully working system fonts for all the needed glyphs). Initially in Pashto Moon would fail to launch as the current translated strings had most of the variable formatting substitutions missing, but after working with cjl he kindly managed to tweak pootle and push out a working ps.po file, though many strings default back to English.

Gary, do you have a precise test case for this bug? i.e. set the clock to a specific date and open moon? thanks.
