See #11211 for attachments of messages and existance of flags, vscroll, hscroll

When working OK flags=c vscroll=hscroll=0

When tap to scroll is enabled flags=c vscroll=hscroll=1

  • Cc dsd added

Can you confirm that flags reads lower case 'c' in *both* cases? (the difference between c and C is significant)

comment:4 Changed 3 years ago by dsd

c vs C is only for tap to click. In the scrollable edges failure case above, was tap to click enabled or disabled? (perhaps worth retesting for confirmation of results)

Tap to click and tap to scroll have never happened together.

So far with OS883 the mousepad has worked perfectly. Changes made for #11357 might be related. My fingers are crossed.

OS883 just got tap to click (there is no flags file created in this case)

Tap to click and tap to scroll happen much less often on OS883. Just got my first tap to scroll, flags = lowercase c (same as in normal operation)

These ps/2 protocol issues seem to have been fixed a while ago. Closing, please reopen if the problems still appear for you on a recent build.
