Description

I saw duplicate activity icons appear in Sugar's Activity Spiral as well as list view after upgrading an XO-1.5 from 10.1.3. However there are not full activities obviously duplicated in the filesystem.

The activities duplicated in the applications view were Jukebox and Words.

Restarting Sugar by rebooting the XO cleared up the issue.

Seen in 11.3.0 os883.

Reproduced upgrading a XO-1 from 11.3.0 to 12.1.0 os14 in secured mode via olpc-update & an Internet connection.

In this case Read & Browse were duplicated.

I also reproduced this on 12.1.0 build 14, Clock was duplicated. I suspect it's caused by http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/3707
