Description
After a fresh install of an 11.3.1 based system (os17, in my case), if the WLAN device is not present on the first boot, networking is permanently disabled.
Inspection shows that the /etc/sysconfig/network file is not generated. On future boots (even with a WLAN card present), the absence of that file causes NetworkManager to fail to start.
