Description

The SD slot and CaFE chip section should be powered down whenever the device is closed or no card is present.

If this can get checked in tinderbox, that would be excellent.

It isn't clear if the CaFE can be powered down for this. We'll have to dig in the spec.

The SDHCI spec certainly allows it. When the driver tells the hw to power off the slot, it can power down more or less everything except card detection and the PCI interface. As to whether the CaFE does this, I have no idea.
