Unwanted mouse clicks

OFW: Q2C18
Build: 478

In build 465, the ability to click with the mouse trackpad was added. However, the sensitivity settings for this have been way off ever since implementation, and a lot of the time, it will register click when the user didn't actually click. It's most noticeable when mousing through the taskbar - activities that you simply mouse past will sometimes open.

It's not something you can consistently reproduce, but you're bound to encounter this problem if you use the build long enough.

I also think it is really bad to have tap-to-click enabled. When I try to adjustment the position of cursor slightly, you inevitably end up with a false clicking.

  • Priority changed from high to blocker

I literally cannot move the cursor without clicking several times.

Bernie says this regression is fixed by using a "void" mouse driver in X. Reassigning.
