Description

I am seeing several tracebacks in presenceservice.log. I am unsure if these should be separate issues, so I'll just attach the whole thing for now. This is occuring in build 482.

The reason is a combination of:

  • an ugly hack in TelepathyPlugin that pretends that all connection managers have all possible interfaces

I'll fix the former so we can detect missing interfaces and avoid using them, but an --enable-olpc Salut wouldn't have this issue in any case.

The hack has been made less ugly and Salut has been compiled with --enable-olpc, so both aspects of this bug have been fixed. Closing.

After Trial 2 we can get rid of the hack and handle GetInterfaces properly, which requires code in telepathy-python that I've already started to work on.
