Description

As see in http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Image:Baseline_battery_test.pdf B4 (Build 496) NIMH batteries Have duration problems some last less than an hour.

Is this just needing to condition the batteries?

If so, we need to document said procedure in the wiki and ensure this information is captured for deployment teams.

In our battery tests with 20+ units, the Ni batteries show the biggest inconsistencies in charging. It takes 2-3 deep discharges before you can get >3 hrs life... even so we have seen some Ni batteries that fail in < 1hr, but the next charge it may last longer.

These tests were done with build 502 and higher.

Firmware <= Q2C18 had a major charging issue for NiMH. So they were never getting fully charged.
