Description

There are circumstances where it is helpful for a machine to be able to claim it is an XO. A service might want to provide different interfaces or content to XOs than it does for other clients.

In particular, the browser should offer some unique string that allows XO-friendly sites to customize their appearance for XOs. There should also be a similar way to hint over the mesh that a machine is an XO as opposed to another sort of laptop.

The usual way to do this is via browser strings in http, along with resolution information.

If you believe we are not setting these correctly, then open a specific bug; in the meanwhile, I'm closing this one.

Our browser string doesn't (seem to) give our resolution or reveal that we're running on an XO. So I guess this should be reopened?

No, this one should be left closed; please file specific bugs against the browser....
