Current behavior doesn't match startup sequence specification in trac #1543 and http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Startup_Sequence

Implementing the screen in the intro should not be too difficult, we have part of it done already. What worries me most is dragging the image around in the presence service. We used to do it and it was causing huge performance issues. CCing the collabora guys.

In general unless we really want the feature it sounds like a good candidate for punting.

Avatars are disabled in PS until probably at least v1.1 for performance reasons.
