Description
B4, 611, Q2D01.
I plugged in a CompUSA 2GB USB stick (with a read-write switch) into the XO, containing a single file, "SimCity.xo". The switch was set to the read-only position (due to bug #4406 which scribbled on the key the previous time I used it).
The Journal doesn't show the USB logo at the bottom of the screen. There appears to be no way to examine a read-only USB stick from the GUI.
In the dev console, "mount" shows
/dev/sda1 on /media/COMPUSA type vfat (ro,nosuid,nodev,noatime,uhelper=hal,uid=500,umask=077)
Surely it should be possible to examine read-only media -- particularly given bug #4406 which leaves trash on read-write media.
