Description
The string values within the manufacturing data on the B1 machines are reversed, with the first character at the highest address. The spec (http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Manufacturing_Data) says:
Store text strings with the first character at the lowest address, null terminated.
This should be corrected for the next build. For the machines that have already been built, we will fix the manufacturing data by reversing the values, using an Open Firmware program that will be part of an OS update tool.
