Description

I was not to receive my OLPC till after 12.25.07. It came overnight and early. No problem with that---but the unit came and the box looked opened. The brief inserted manual looked used. The plastic bag that covered the laptop was untaped. All other bags were open as well. The bags looked fairly used. I'm curious if I received a unit that was tested/used by someone else?

The unit is listed as coming from Mark Fopped, Bright Star US shipped Dec. 20. I want to insure that I got the right unit/model etc. COR3?

I do not see any materials allowing me to set-up the T-Mobile Account to test the unit further

The TMobile account information should be in the email with shipping information.

The reason boxes appeared open is that they were opened: all software and firmware was updated between Quanta (the manufacturer) and its shipment to you. I'm sorry it appears the repacking was not as graceful as it might be; the Brightstar people in Chicago were trying to get as many systems shipped in time for Christmas as possible.
