Build 653 (and many others)

This track item is used to capture one specific 'jumpy mouse' bug: when you touch the touchpad the mouse jumps to 0,0 -- the lower right corner.

There is a fix for this one that will not necessarily have any affect on the many other touchpad issues.

I've always considered #2804 to describe this bug, but maybe this isn't very clear from the summary and the initial description.

Let's close either this one or #2804 as duplicate.
