Description

In our Mongolian deployment with 1000 machines, multicast packets are clogging the network. We should increase our multicast rate to 36Mbps to reduce the amount of airtime these require.

This has been hacked around in pilgrim for Woodhouse's special update.1 candidate; this bug will track the "real fix" to this problem, for the "proper" update.1 release.

Is there a "real fix" contemplated, or even an amelioration? This tracker bug isn't tracking very well yet.
