record fails to share audio

G1G1, build 700, latest activities

Start record. Share it. Switch to audio. Record something. The thumbnail appears on both machines. It plays on the machine which recorded the audio. When I try to play it on the other machine, it fails to download. Photo sharing works fine.

When trying to share video, not even the thumbnail appears on the other machine.

I'm guessing this is link-local (Salut), since the report is from a G1G1 user and xochat.org is currently down.

erik, please reassign to Collabora if you can confirm that this is a telepathy failure (and not a Record problem).

Is Record available in sugar-jhbuild? Does it use stream or D-Bus tube? How? Please attach Gabble or Salut log (see http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Telepathy-debug )

I did some quick tests with build 699 and Record-54 using Salut. Photo sharing works fine but neither audio or video thumbnails appear on the other XO.

Oh, I just understood how the activity works. You have to switch to audio and video tabs to see others thumbnails. :)

Video sharing worked but audio failed as reported.

Audio sharing works fine with Gabble.

I attached Record's log of both sides with Gabble and Salut. Would be good if a Record developper could take a look on it and explain what was going wrong.

The sender seems to properly send data with Gabble and Salut but the receiver displays this in the Salut case:

I changed the value of self.meshTimeoutTime from 10000 to 60000 and audio sharing worked with Salut so I think this is a Record bug and not a Telepathy one.
