Laptop unable to connect to schoolserver presence service

When a laptop is using WiFi to connect to the school server, it sometimes cannot establish a gabble connection with the presence service, and instead starts up salut.

This is a similar problem to ticket #5908, but in that ticket a mesh network is used to connect to the school server.

Ok, we have at least 2 problems here.

which indicates a DNS / network issue. So not related to Telepathy/presence-service.

and whic is called for a not logged reason (the SSL errors shouldn't be a problem as we set the ignore-ssl-errors parameter)

The second issue could be a network issue too (the TCP connection was propably dropped).

I'm pretty sure this is a network or server bug. Reassigning to wireless so see what network experts think.
