Description

If you connect to a WEP-encrypted AP, and then modify the AP settings to use WPA (without changing the ESSID) then you are not prompted to enter a WPA passphrase and hence connection fails.

Right this is a known bug, and has the short term fix of #7480, the ability to remove network config settings. After a reboot you should be able to connect to the AP.
