Description

The laptop got frozen (no response to the internal and external mouse, as well as to the internal keyboard). Networking lights were "on". There was no response to a key combination to get to the Linux shell (virtual terminal), until the combination was hit several times, eventually allowing to get to the shell and collect the log file.

After that, the machine started to behave properly.

The log file is attached.

Joe showed me a "frozen" laptop which was simply thrashing in OOM, perhaps because for the reasons suggested in http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/devel/2008-September/019009.html.

After the overnight run, the second laptop was found in the similar state (the log file attached), was revived by doing ctrl-alt-3d view key, then showed no single network circle (either AP or mesh) in the Neighborhood view.
