Browse-98 shows "keep error: all changes will be lost" when closing video or image content resumed from Journal

Description

Testing Browse-98 under joyride-2462. Resuming a photo or video (in this test case previously taken with Record) from the Journal uses Browse to correctly view the content. However, when you then try to stop Browse it gives the scary "Keep error: all changes will be lost." alert message.

Yeah, it happens in earlier versions too, such as Browse-96 in build 8.2-760, after viewing alt-1 screen snapshots that are deposited into Journal. Keep errors are irritating. What causes them?
